Gretchen was born to tell stories. Raised a Buddhist in the Texas Bible Belt, a white girl in an Hispanic neighborhood and dirt poor to boot, her unique take on the world was formed at an early age. Gretchen attended Booker T. Washington HS for the Performing Arts in Dallas, Texas, and immediately moved to Chicago to help form The Feral Theater Company, which focused on writing and producing original theatrical an improvisational material. Since moving to Los Angeles, Gretchen's used her unique background to tell her stories through improvisation, standup comedy and talk radio. She and radio partner Mike Lukas have been CrackinUp California audiences since December, 2005. |
